Our Sunderland office is the largest accountancy office in the centre of the City of Sunderland, established there since 1971. The office comprises of 6 partners and some 30 staff who service our clients’ accountancy and tax needs throughout the North of England and into Southern Scotland.

Client types

The office provides a wide range of compliance, accountancy and taxation services to a broad client base which ranges from business start ups, to medium sized companies. Over the years each partner has developed their own personal expertise which allows the practice to offer services and advice in a number of specialised areas, including Solicitors Accounts Rules, agriculture and farming, charities, registered social landlords and not for profit organisations.

Graduate experience

All graduates will work in the accounts and assurance department where, from day one, they will receive hands on experience in the preparation of accounts for small sole traders and partnerships. As their experience and knowledge develops they will move onto larger and more complex assignments including preparing accounts for limited companies and going out on audit with more senior members of staff. There is a relaxed atmosphere within the office with an excellent support network, which means that there is always someone able and willing to help trainees with any queries they may have regarding both their work and their studies.
